Snow Foolin (1949)
In this Christmas classic cartoon, watch various animated animals participate in winter sports and frolick in the fresh snow before breaking into song and following the bouncing ball to “Jingle Bells.” A hen invites us to follow her bouncing egg and sing. Finally, a turtle dispenses hot coffee to a bird on her nest.
This was one of the last “sing-a-long” classic cartoons produced by Paramount, featuring the “bouncing ball” progression through the song lyrics. The song, “Jingle Bells”, is performed with the rarely heard second and third verses of the holiday classic.
